It was directed, shot and edited by Jennifer Abbott, who spent five years travelling across Canada, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand to interview representatives on all sides. The film intercuts these interviews with images of farm animals and industrial farming operations. It explores what is sometimes popularly called factory farming.

But the animal-rights activists featured here make PETA look like mere cat-kickers by comparison; in fact, the best-known advocacy group is accused of killing far more creatures than it rescues, earning it the description, from one salty observer (Richard Pryor's widow, Jennifer), as "just another En-fucking-ron".
